He was responsible for the resurgence of the female tuxedo. He cut the tuxedo to fit a woman's figure. He also showed us how safari dressing could be translated into city dressing. His ball gowns were and are some of the most recognizable and beautiful pieces gracing the red carpet and social events today. He taught women everywhere how to be chic French women.
